The dealership wanted a program that would allow it to certify its pre-owned vehicles of other makes and models, not just those belonging to its franchise’s brand.

Results and Outcomes
The J.D. Power® Edge Certified Pre-Owned Program has shown a rapid success for the dealership, both in quantitative and qualitative ways.
- During the first six months of the new offering, 89% of pre-owned inventory sold had the J.D. Power® Edge Certified Pre-owned Program warranty in place
- Over that period, J.D. Power® Edge Certified Pre-owned Program average total gross profit was nearly $1,424 higher than non-certified pre-owned**
- Of that $1,424 increase, front end sales gross rose by $838
